Our mini multigenerational Australian Labradoodle breeding dogs are family members first! We are 100% committed to providing a wonderful life for ALL of our dogs. Our Guardian Program allows families to become part of our Sugar Cane Doodle program and support a better way of breeding.

A Guardian Family Home is chosen specifically for one of our breeding dogs or puppies to live a wonderful life as a family dog. Sugar Cane Doodles will retain all breeding rights. Being a guardian family is a great way to get a high quality/pick of the litter Australian Labradoodle without the upfront cost of purchasing a puppy/dog. The dog or puppy will live with you and will visit our program when required testing needs to be done, when it is time to be bred or when she is ready to have her puppies. Sugar Cane Doodles will resume any costs related to health testing or reproductive costs. Upon completion of the dog’s breeding career, full ownership will be transferred to the guardian family. Requirements of Guardian Families

• Live within the greater Baton Rouge region (closer for male guardians)

• Must have a fenced in yard

• Regular grooming and health care

• Basic training and socialization

• Upon completion of the contract, the dog with be spayed/neutered
